NLM Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
The National Library of Medicine® (NLM) responds to more than 100,000 questions each year. Users answer many more questions themselves by searching our Web site. They read one or more of our answers to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). You can find our FAQs at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/services/faq.html. They include suggestions for research assistance, help with and training materials for PubMed®, consumer health resources, and information about the History of Medicine, ClinicalTrials.gov, NLM Grants and Funding, and gene sequencing databases.
Questions that the FAQs can answer include:
- How can I identify a pill?
- Where can I find citations for older journal articles?
- Where can I find medical “stock shots,” videos, photographs, slides or images?
- Where can I find the current edition of the NLM Classification?
Go to our FAQ page and see if we have answers that you and your patrons can use.
