National Poison Prevention Week March 18-24, 2012
National Poison Prevention Week is the third week of March. Since 1962, National Poison Prevention Week alerts the public to the dangers of accidental poisonings. This is an opportunity for libraries/librarians to provide information on safety measures to prevent poisoning from household products, medicines, pesticides, plants, bites & stings, food poisoning and even poisoning from fumes.
