Briefly
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is working to enhance the utility of our Resources for Researchers web portal, and your feedback is essential. This blog is your opportunity to tell us what you think of our progress: what works, what doesn’t.

The longer story
Our goal with the Resources for Researchers portal is to answer the question, “What resources does NIAID offer to help you do great science?”

As budgets continue to shrink across the federal government, we want to ensure that all researchers are aware of the resources that NIAID provides beyond traditional grants and contracts, including partnership and collaboration opportunities, training, bioinformatics software and data, and animal model services, to name only a few.

Through this blog, we hope to get your feedback on how to improve the availability of this information as well as feedback on resources you would like to see beyond traditional grants and contracts. We’ve been working on a redesign for a while, with small focus groups and surveys, but are looking for more researcher feedback to better inform our efforts.
