Today when I attempted to sign up for a webinar at web University, I received a message stating that my user name and password were not recognized. I attempted to log in a few more times with my usual credentials without success. I then attempted to recover my password. However, the system stated that my user name and email combination were not in the database. Hmmm… Next I attempted to create a new account with my usual username and email address. I figured the system would inform me that a user with my user name already existed. To my surprise I was able to create an account with the credentials I always use.

     After I subscribed to the webinar, I decided to write a blog entry. As usual I found GSA’s APPs.gov WordPress cumbersome to simply add an entry. I thought I would go to the help forum to suggest placing an ADD BLOG entry button to make it easier for users to write blog posts. However, when I attempted to log in to the help forum with my credentials, I received an error message stating unrecognized user and password. I attempted a few more time without success. These two issues lead me to think that perhaps something happened to my credential in GSA’s databases. However, I was able to log in to my blog. I sent an email to my contact at GSA. I will just have to wait and see.
